He created the earth out of nothing. Doesn’t make scientific proof, no evidence
Fundamentalist- statements in the bible are literally true
Liberals- symbolism- don’t take it word for word
BIg Bang- trace it back to beginning The big bang is how astronomers explain the way the universe began. It is the idea that the universe began as just a single point, then expanded and stretched to grow as large as it is right now (and it could still be stretching).
Evolution- fit natural environment
Science has made the creation story unbelievable
The creation story is made up to explain what nobody knows
There has to be a creator
The value of the world
Stewardship - the idea that believers have a duty to look after the environment on behalf of God
Dominion - dominance or power over something; having charge over something or ruling over it.
Awe - a feeling of devout respect, mixed with fear and wonder

When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
Romans 1:20 God's divine nature can be seen
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Genesis 2:15- adam was given the task of looking after the garden of eden.
