• Roles of Women in a Christaian family :

Women are weaker than men - "Husbands,... be considerate.. with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner.."

 The fall is another piont to argue that Women are weaker.

Roles of women in the church family:

Roman Catholic and Orthodox dont alow omen to be Ordained - Another reason is that jesus only made men his disiples.  - However Jesus treated women and men as equals. 

 The role of the women - Tha men and women play an equal role in the church and now have female vicars and preists,

However The view of women from a Roman catholive point of view is: Women are not allowed to be Preists because :     

• The Hierarchy of the church reflects jesus and his Apostles.
• The priest acts in the person of christ, who was male.

The pope is always male because he is a descendant of peter.
