African American Response
The African American communites did much to aid themselves in the aftermath of the Civil War.
They set up Baptist Churches across America that had garnered over 1 million black baptists in 1890. It created a large income which helped local school development.
The development of these schools gave an education oppurtunity to more black children, creating a sustainable and equal African American future as most African American children could…
