Atkinson & Shiffrin’s Multi Store Model has lots of evidence in support for the model in how it has separate store and their capacity and duration. Murdok held an experiment that supported the theory of separate stores in memory which involved a list of words being read out to a group of participants and then the participants immediately writing then down once the whole list had been read. He found that participants remembered words more at the beginning and end of the list. He concluded that words at the beginning
