Is aggression inherited?
To disentangle the relative contributions of nature (genetic inhertance) and nurture (environmental influences), researchers have conducted methodolgical techniques.
Twin studies:
Monogygotic (identical) twins share all of their genes
Dizygotic twins (non-identical) twins share only 50% of their genes.
Researchers compare how similar a particular trait between monogygotic (MZ) twins and digygotic (DZ) twins are, in this case aggression is the trait.
