Discuss the relationship between sexual selection and human reproductive behaviour.

Intra sexual selection: where males are encouraged to find other men competetive in order to compete for the women they like

Inter sexual selection: Where women look for men with a certain characteristic that they could pass on to their offspring to make them have a better chance of survival.

Males main point of call is to look for a women who has fertile oppurtunities as they know this will allow them to pass on their genes.. This is why men have a SHORTER mating preference as they can engage in casual sex without having to worry about the offspring. Move on to the next female to spread their genetics.
