What is Prosody?
In linguistics, prosody is concerned with those elements of speech that are not individual phonetic segments but are properties of syllables and larger units of speech. Prosody is the study of the tune and rhythm of speech and how these features contribute to meaning. It can be regarded as part of the grammar of a language.
