Problems

-       Wheat and rice crop producers sell to country that pays the most. Poor countries can’t afford these prices so have to rely on what they can produce themselves.

-       LEDCs forced to buy at market prices they can’t afford, leads into debt. High interest rates make the poor poorer

-       In countries where there are relaxed trading laws, farmers buy agricultural land to grow cash crops to sell to rich countries. Rest of population suffers
