Problems with the league

·         The USA didn’t join the League

o   Even though the league was made up by Woodrow Wilson the USA never joined the League for these reasons

§  The people of America hadn’t liked the Treaty of Versailles and refused to accept it they thought the League of Nations was connected to it

§  American people thought it would be too expensive for them as they would be needed it every small argument and they wanted to stay out of Europe. This was called isolationism
