Photosynthesis

Photosynthesis takes place in the green parts of plants. Chlorophyll absorbs light energy, which is then used to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose. Oxygen is then produced as a product. Enzymes control the chemical reactions in photosynthesis.

Word equation:

Carbon Dioxide + Water --------> Glucose + Oxygen

                             (light & Chlorophyll)

The temperature, light intensity and carbon dioxide concentration can affect the rat of photosynthesis, which can be measured using oxygen.
