Research question: What variables make it more or less likely that someone would help a stranger who collapses in a public place?

Sample: Est. 4450 Men + Women who travelled on the 8th avenue IND in NYC, weekdays between 11am and 3pm between April 15th - 26th June 1968. 55% white 45% black.

Sampling method: Opportunity sample.
