Photosynthesis part 1

photosynthesis is a chemical process that plants use to make their food (glucose and oxygen, using the light energy from the sun).

It occurs in leaves that contain chlorophyll, a green pigment that absorbs sunlight contained in chloroplasts of some plant cells

plants also need carbon dioxide and water for photosynthesis. Photosynthesis only takes place in the light.
