Photosynthesis and Respiration

Photosynthesis and respiartion are closely linked. The product of photosynthesis (Glucose and oxygen) are used for respiration and the carbon dioxide and wate released from  respiration can be used for photosynthesis.

We have seen the light is required for phtosynthesis to occur- It therefore only happens during daylight hours in plants. Respiration is a process that occurs at all times in all livng organisms
