- Biomass is the materials within an organism.

-Producers are at the bottom of the food chain as they create energy from the sunlight via photosynthesis.

= Therefore they are the producers of biomass.

-Photosynthesis is an endothermic reaction because it takes in energy from the sunlight as the bonds require more energy to be broken than the energy which is given off when the product's bonds are formed.
