Perkin Warbeck was Henry VII's most persistent rival. He was an imposture for 8 years.
## His imposture first started in Cork, Ireland --> Straight away Henry sent over a small army. It was a crisis as it coinsided with the Breton crisis and attended threat from the Auld alliance. Warbeck recieved insufficient support in Ireland he was forced to flee to France in 1942.
## Charles VIII welcomes Warbeck as he was currently at war with England. However, England organised the Treaty of Etaples so he was forced to flee again
