Study - Shea
Procedure:
- conducted a natrualistic observation
- infants ages between 3-4
- videotaped in the playground during their first 10 weeks in nursery
- behaviour was assessed in terms of:
rough and tumble play
aggression
frequency of peer interaction
distance from teacher
distance from nearest child
Findings:
- Peer Relations: Over 10 weeks the children became more sociable during their time in nursery school, the children's peer interaction increased as they went looking…
