• However they are split on healthcare, Sanders wanting more, clinton wanting less
• Republicans are united over guns, unanimously blocking Obamas attempt at gun reform in 2013
• However they are split over immigration, Ted Cruz attacking Trumps wall plans 
• The two major parties are clearly split over federal v state, Obama advocating for federal power whereas 2013 congress protected states rights 
• Howver there is some overlap, some democrats supporting Bush's no child left behind act…
