Paley's teleological argument

The teleological argument states that the universe shows complex signs of design and as these signs of design are much more complex than anything that humans can make, it must be a supreme being that created the universe thus it states that God created the universe.

Paley was a philosopher who observed that the universe had purpose and regularity and concluded that there had to be a designer in order for the universe to be the way it is.
