Speed = Distance / Time

Velocity tells you how fast an object is moving but also tells you the direction it is travelling in (m/s).  It is a vector quantity.

Velocity(m/s) = Displacement (m) / Time (s)

Travelling Forwards = Positive Value Travelling Backwards = Negative Value

Displacement is like distance except from that it is a vector quantity, it also gives you the direction , therefore it can be positive or
