-The 4 types of hazards are climatic, technological, geological and biological.
-The layers of the earth go from the crust at the top then the mantle, then the lower mantle, outer core and finally inner core
- A hotspot is a stationary plume of magma that goes deep into the earth's crust. Example of Hawaii.
- A volcano is an opening of a vent in the earth's surface, where the magma from deep inside the earth forces its way up and the pressure releases and it erupts.
- Short term impacts of a Volcano negative
- Buildings and roads collapse and crops are destroyed
- Death causes the contamination of the water.
- Long term impacts of a Volcano positive
- Collapsed buildings, broken water pipes and broken electricity pylons.
