What is osmosis?
- The diffusion of water from a dilute solution to a more concentrated solution through a partially permeable membrane.
- Dilute solutions contain high concentrations of water and concentrated solutions contains low concentrations of water.
- Partially permeable memebranes allow soe molecules to pass through but not all molecules
