Lennie

  • Lennie looks up to George and respects him. "Immediatley Lennie got up and did the same." George is the authority in their relationship and Lennie is aware of this. He seems to believe George is very powerful in the way he expects him to be able to sort things out "Make 'um stop George."
  • Lennie does what George wants like George is his master "like a terrier who doesn't want to bring a ball to its master"
  • Although Lennie is mainly presented as an obeadient and "nice fella" he often does things which he isn't meant to "What mouse, George? I ain't got no mouse." This may be due to his child like mind and lack of intelligence, so he is sometimes unaware of what is right and wrong.
  • Lennie is physically very big and strong, but metally he is weak. "a
