• Take Cuttings - section of stem is cut between leaf joints. This section is treated with hormones to encourage growth of roots. Cutting = clone.
• Grafting - A shoot joined to an already growing root and stem (rootstock).

Tissue Culture: Separation of cells of any tissue type and then their growth in/on a nutrient medium.

• TC generates large numbers of Genetically Identical plants which are disease free
