  • Proteins are aranged as microfilaments and microtubules
  • provides an internal framework for the cell
    • preserves its shape
    • holds organelles in position
  • Part of the Cytoskeleton, Actin Filaments:
    • able to move against each other
      • responsible for the movement of organelles
      • movement and change in shape of WBC
