3 types of radiation:

  • Alpha Radiation (fish-like sign, an 'a')
  • Beta Radiation (b-like sign)
  • Gamma radiation (backward 'y' sign)

About the Nucleus

  • Every atom has a NUCLEUS made up of PROTONS and NEUTRONS
  • ELECTRONS move around the energy levels/shells surrounding nucleus.
