Obedience Unit

Authoritarian personality: More likely to obey; a rigid adherence to very traditional, conventional values, extreme need to submit to those above them and possess a lot of hostility and anger in general.

Authority (factor): People obey more if the individual giving orders has greater authority.

Collectivist culture: A culture that tends to promote teamwork, working as a family unit and places less emphasis on individuality.

Consensus (factor): People's obedience levels are affected by being in a group, but the direction depends on what the group does.
