Simplifying fractions

Definition-A fraction has been simplified when the numerator(the top) and the demonitaor(the bottom) are expressed as whole numbers cancelled down as far as possible.

Remeber

• To change a fraction or a a decimal into a percentagem multiply it by 100 
• To change a percentage into a fraction, rewrite % as division by 100
• To write a fraction as a decimal, divide the top number by the bottom number
