Nothing To Be Said

Overview of meaning: Questioning our society-spend out lives doing nothing just getting closer to death. It talks about society's response. People are all born differently in different societies "nomads", or "cross-faced tribes", and yet they all are born and are going to die. Some people don't understand death and some don't want to know about it but no-matter what we are all going to die.  Others thing too much about death and others try to forget.

Themes: Death, Time and it's passing, Society

Structure: 2nd stanza deals with progress still comes death- questions why we bother. The first stanza talks about various cultural groups across the world – “nations vague as weed” – unknown? Insignificant? Remote? Forgotten about? nomads “among stones” – because they move across
