Nazi Soviet Pact 1939

August 24th 1939 the Nazi Soviet Pact was signed.

Non agression agreement pact between USSR and Germany. This was very important as it was one of the main reasons for the outbreak of WW2. Because it meant that Germany invaded Poland so Britain declared war.

By having the USSR on his side Hitler could invade Poland without having to worry about a possible Soviet attack
