Natural Law Theorists

Natural law theorists argue that, in order to be valid, the law must coincide with natural law.

Natural law has been expressed in many different ways throughout history - 

4th century BC - Aristotle - His theory of natural law was based on the law of nature. He believed that the principles which govern the universe, and which explained how it was structured and how it functioned, could be discovered through observation and the power of human reason
