MULTI-STORE MODEL OF MEMORY
Memory is a multi-store process and not a single unit storage system, these stores are different in terms of capacity, duration and the way they are encoded. The multiple stores are:
1. SENSORY MEMORY - holds sensory information, passed on to the STM if we pay attention to it.
