- Sensory store, short term store and long term store.
- Information from our environment initially goes into sensory memory. If it is paid attention too it will be encoded and passed on to the short-term memory.
- Short term memory has a finite capacity and duration. If information is processed further then it can be transferred to long term memory. In theory, information can then remain there forever.
