Momentum = Mass x Velocity
- The greater the mass of an object and the greater its velocity, the more momentum the object has.
- Momentum is a quantity of vectors- it has size and direction.
Momemtum (kgm/s) = Mass (kg) x Velocity (m/s)
p = m x v
Momentum before= Momentum after
Momentum is conserved when no external forces act. The total momentum is the same before as it is after.
