Momentum
Momentum is a property that all objects have.
- The greater the mass of the moving object the greater the momentum
- The greater the speed of the moving object the greater the momentum
- Momentum is a vector quantity - this means that it has size and direction
The equation for momentum is:
Momentum = Mass (kg) x Velocity (m/s)
