Healthy means free of any infections or disease, but being fit is a measure of how well you perform in physical tasks.

Fitness can be measured in different ways. Fitness profiles measure strength, speed, flexibility, and stamina.

Stamina is a good indication of cardiovascular efficiency, which is the ability of the heart to supply the muscles with oxygen. It can be tested by measuring oxygen uptake during exercise, and blood pressure.

Blood is pumped around the body by contractions of the heart, which increase the pressure of the blood.

Blood leaves the heart and travels through arteries, which then split into thousands of tiny capillaries.
