Generally, modifications are adverbs and adjectives.

If the modifier comes before the noun, it is a premodifier/premodifying adjective/attributive adjective. 

If the modifier comes after the noun, it is a postmodifier/postmodifying adjective/predicative adjective

There are also comparative and superlative adjectives.
