Mitosis produces two daughter cells that have the same number of chromosomes as the parent cells and each other. The daughter cells are exact copies of the DNA of the parent cell.


  • Where the replication of DNA takes place.
  • Two copis remain joined at the centromere.
  • Chromosomes are invisible
