                                                     1. CRYSTAL SHAPE

There are 7 crystal shapes in which each mineral can be assigned
the more complex shape is called the CRYSTAL FORM and a perfect crystal is only an example of one crystal form.
The most easily recognised us the cubic crystals of halite, galena and fluorite.

                                                   2.CRYSTAL FORM OR HABIT

These are common forms of crystals and one mineral may have many forms,
NOT all minerals show form or habit- described as MASSIVE-no distinct crystal form or shape
