Aim:

To see how obedient people are when following an order broke their moral code

Procedure:

40 male participants aged 20-50

Recruited from a newspaper - volunteers

Paid $5 for their time

Draw made the participant the teacher and Mr Wallace the learner

Mr Wallace was strapped into the chair

The participants were given a real shock of 45v

Mr Wallace was given a memory test

Wrong answers to questions led to an electric shock which…
