Method

Controlled experiment. Done in a uni. He had a volunteer participant in room w/ examiner and had confederate hooked up to a shock machine. Before this the particpant saw learner being shocked to reinforce beliefs that it is real. The machine was not actually plugged in once in seoerate rooms. He got the participants to ask the confederates some memory questions and if they got them wrong to give them an electric shock, which went up in 15V up to 450V which can be fatal, if the participant asked…
