Milgram

Aim:

How obedient people would be in a situation where breaking orders would mean breaking participants moral code and harming another person. 

Method:

Milgram advertised for voulenteers to take part in a memory experiment for a fee of $4.50.

When the 40 participants (male aged 20-50) arrived they were told that they would either be a teacher or a learner.

Milgram always ensured that Mr Wallace was the learner and the participant was the teacher.
