Migration is the permanent/semi-permanent movement of people involving a change of home as well as social relations.

There is international migration - which is when people migrating from one country to another - and internal migration - which is when people migrate from one place to another in the same country.

There are differen types of migration:

• Voluntary Migration: people choose to migrate.
• Rural to Urban Migration: people migrate from the countryside to the city.
• Forced Migration: people are forced to migrate, they have no choice.
