1) The polymerase chain reaction
This is an example of artificial DNA replication whereby tiny samples are used to generate huge quantities of copies- Just like a photocopier!!!
3 special steps
- DENATURATION- A piece of DNA is mixed with the enzyme DNA polymerase and heated to 95 degrees. This seperates the two strands of DNA
