- Television Advertising - This form of advertising is very expensive and consequently can only be used by larger firms & companies. It's able to reach a mass market audience. However, some potential customers may not be watching, and many people who are watching simply may not be interested in the product.
- Newspaper Advertising - This method can be used to target more specific groups, according to the newspapers that they read, whilst still on a mass scale.
- Radio Advertising - Increased in popularity as radio channels have increased in number. Again, useful for targeting specific market segments & demographics.
