Herny Ford built his first motor car in 1896.

- In 1903 he founded the Ford Motor Company 

- By 1909 he was producing the Model T and by 1914 was beginning to use a moving assembly line to produce the 'Tin Lizzies'. 

- Each worker had his own task to do over and over again as the conveyer delivered the next car in the production line. 

- Instead of taking 14 hours a car could be produced in 93 minutes.

- In the 1920's over 1 millions Model T's were produced each year.
