Capitalism is criminogenic - by it's own nature causes crime.

Poverty may mean crime is the only way w/c can survive.

Crime may be the only way they can obtain goods encouraged by capitalist advertising.

Alienation may lead to frustration and non-utilitarian crimes such as vandalism.
