Making Peace

On November 11th 1918 Germany signed the Armstice at the Paris Peace Conference 

Aims of the Big Three

Gerge Clemenceau - France

1) He wanted revenge from the Franco -Prussian war 

2) He wanted to punish Germany for the war damage 

3) He wanted to weaken Germany so that France would not be invaded again 

4) He wanted Alsace and Lorraine back 

5) He wanted Reperations

 Woodrow Wilson

1) In 1918 he came up with the 14 points showing what exactly he wanted .

   14 points - 

  - No secret treaties or deals between states 

 - Countries should be free to send ships anywhere…
