Aim: to see the effect of leading questions on memory of an event.

Sample: 1st Experiment - 45 students, Washington Uni, 2nd Experiment - 150 students

Method: Laboratory experiment

Procedure: 1st Experiment - 7 film clips of car accidents, each ranged from 5-30 seconds. Questionnaire, involving questions of the speed of the vehicles involved. IV was the verb used: smashed, collided, bumped, hit and contacted. DV was the speed estimates. 2nd
