WATER:
Water is dipolar as it has a negative charge on one end and a positive charge on the other.
Water is a polar molecule with hydrogen bonds and it has a high specific heat capacity.
Water is a good solvent because it is dipolar, so it can surround other polar molecules, keeping them from other molecules.
THE HEART:
Blood flows into the heart through the vena cava → it then goes into the right atrium → it travels through the right atrioventricular valve to the right ventricle → through the semilunar valve into the pulmonary artery → goes to the lungs for gas exchange → through the pulmonary vein to the left atrium → to the atrioventricular valve to the left ventricle → out the aorta.
Blood vessels consist of an outer layer of collagen, a layer of elastic tissue/smooth muscle, squamous epithelial cells…
