Life expectancy in medieval times

Living conditions were very poor in medieval times.

In the winter, animals would live inside a house, causing infections and attracting fleas.

Floors would be made of mud and excretion could be left in the corner of the room or in a bucket.

Sanitary conditions were poor, so the body was vulnerable to almost anything.
